Ballet Cliché

$210.00

Colby Corley
Ballet Cliché, 2022
Marker and pen on paper
11 x 14 inches
Framed

I was inspired by interest in ballet from when I was a young child. This art work means the beauty in a grueling art such as ballet. My artistic process is to bring beauty and horror aspect to ballet through a character. I was nervous about if it would be creepy to viewers, but I found that when I shown it to people they found a curiosity in it. I wanted to make something that was creepy and beautiful.
